Spring Summer 2018 Woman Collection
The 8pm SS 2018 collection features different sides of the same woman that, as in a kaleidoscope of style, at the end come together in the usual strong and rebellious concept that has always characterized it’s style.
The general inspiration is the break-down of patterns: political incorrectness with a reference to the 80s, a creative courage that translates into freedom of inspiration: it is not the semantic definition that defines style but the woman who freely interprets the mood, a new way to quit with commercial fashion standardization.
The first theme is generated from a desire for a FASHION DETOX.
A big theme composed of pale and light colors, that are easy to match: on one side the range of cerulean blues, degrading to stone and deep asphalt hues and the more classic navy blue, on the other hand many shades of powder, band-aid pink and rosewood mixed with milk and ecru with a touch of safari green.
In this theme style is essential, naive and spontaneous, subtly inspired by a metropolitan and sportswear attitude yet strongly feminine, decorated with gatherings and frills, but with a wink at Parisian it-girls with French stripes, chanel-woven fabrics and reinterpreted denim, floral prints of british wallpaper in different colors.
The silhouettes are hybrid and versatile with contrasting elements: casual and couture, feminine and masculine, work gear and special occasions.
The second theme is definetely shameless and is almost a hymn: GIRLS JUST WANNA HAVE FUN.
The sexy look is exasperated, almost "dramatic", a return to the 80’s glam clubbing, starting from colors: black and white in opposition, bubble gum pink and deep yellow citron (like a whimsical neon declination) and polkadots print with a strong visual impact.
The style is clearly stronger, ornamental and with a propension to kitsch and bling that is reflected in glitter, flashy decorations and fabrics such as multicolor sequins, rhinestones, lurex, and mermaid effect foils.
Fetish and dominatrix inspired accessories complement the picture with humor.
Finally, the entire collection is characterized by handmade dyes: modern bindings that create new effects of tie-dye that go beyond the classic hippy image on striped jersey and sweatshirts, garment-dyes with light worn and vintage effect, and also blurred and traditional Japanese bindings on viscose and cotton fabrics.
